Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can kids compete with a teammate that is a different age?
A: Yes. The age group will be determined by the age of the oldest teammate.

Q: Can teams be co‐ed?
A: Yes.

Q: How many teams are on course?
A: Races are limited to 500 teams per race day, spread across 3 waves. Teams will be released 2 to 3 teams at a time every 2 minutes to manage course flow.

Q: If my child does not have a partner can I sign my child up to save a spot and then find a partner?
A: Yes. Make a team name for your team when you register your child. The parent of the teammate will have to choose your child’s team name and join it. You can create a password to ensure the correct parent joins your team. YOU are responsible for ensuring your team is set before race day.

Q: What is included in the entry fee?
A: Your child’s Kids Adventure Games entry fee includes an Athlete shirt and  a medal of completion upon finishing the race.

Q: We’ve signed up for the Champions’ Race. What is included in that entry fee?

Teams will get a chance to race the same course from Saturday. Awards will be presented to the top teams in each category. New t-shirts are NOT included.

Q: We signed up for the Parent-Child Fun Race. What is included in this entry fee?

Teams of one adult and one Kids Adventure Games child participant (Saturday racer) run the same course. One new t-shirt is provided.  This is intended as a fun run. No awards will be provided.
